A iSpring Case Study
Stellenbosch University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences needed a way to deliver truly accessible, interactive learning content for nearly 5,000 medical students and support a large teaching staff of over 1,600. Before working with iSpring, the faculty struggled to ensure students could access learning materials anytime and anywhere, especially as teaching shifted beyond the classroom.
Using iSpring Suite, Stellenbosch University created interactive SCORM learning packages from existing PowerPoint presentations and uploaded them to its LMS for online and offline access. iSpring also enabled self-guided learning, role-play and virtual patient simulations, and immediate feedback for students. The university reports that lecturers now have more time for higher-order discussion in class, the tool is intuitive with a minimal learning curve, and the faculty is purchasing 7+ new licenses each year, showing strong ongoing adoption and impact.
