A iSpring Case Study
Old Dominion University’s Darden College of Education & Professional Studies needed a better way to support digital learning and simulation-based projects as students moved away from paper workbooks and struggled with complex, time-consuming authoring tools. In the course “Theory and Design of Instructional Simulation,” instructors and students wanted a reliable, easy-to-use solution that would let them focus on learning and creating rather than on mastering software.
iSpring implemented iSpring Suite, giving the program an intuitive PowerPoint-based authoring tool with features like an extended trial, speech-to-text, and stand-alone simulation output. The result was faster course development, more engaging student projects, stronger hybrid and remote learning support, and improved student confidence and presentation skills. Old Dominion University also reported higher grades and better learner engagement, with instructors successfully developing and modifying 13 courses using iSpring Suite.
