Knox Community Hospital, a 99‑bed community hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio, needed to improve mandatory training for more than 1,200 clinical and support staff. Previously courses were static PowerPoint/PDF files with an end‑of‑course test, which led to poor engagement and weak knowledge retention across roles from nurses to lab and nutrition staff.

Using iSpring Suite, the clinical education team converted materials into interactive SCORM courses with frequent quizzes, drag‑and‑drop and hotspot questions, and dialogue simulations. In about a year they created 30+ courses (most take ~30 minutes to build), improved learner enjoyment and knowledge retention, met regulatory training requirements, and received fast vendor support — all resulting in more effective, engaging training across the organization.
