A iSpring Case Study
The University of Manchester’s Junior eLearning Support Assistant, Tahiya Alam, faced the challenge of making complex research on Alzheimer’s disease accessible to the public without oversimplifying the science. For her final-year science communication project she needed a user-friendly, engaging format that would improve understanding and retention while allowing measurement of learning outcomes.
Using iSpring Suite as a PowerPoint plug-in, she built an interactive, scenario-based Alzheimer’s guide with animations, triggers and embedded quizzes and surveys to track learning and user experience. The resource increased engagement and comprehension, gathered easy-to-analyze quantitative feedback via automated scores and Likert responses, and earned positive user comments—leading her to continue using iSpring for effective, easily shareable science communication.
