Edge Hill University - Customer Case Study

Edge Hill University’s Learning Technology Development team, led by Mark Wilcock, set out to improve blended learning and mobile access for faculty and students. In early 2014 they began piloting iSpring authoring tools to make lectures more accessible outside the classroom and launched an early-adopters project and webinar that engaged dozens of staff.

Using iSpring’s Narration Editor, Blackboard integration, HTML5 conversion and QuizMaker, instructors could attach recorded lecture audio to slides, publish content to the university LMS, deliver materials on phones and tablets, and create mock exams. The pilot produced overwhelmingly positive feedback, increased student engagement and performance, and has led to wider adoption and ongoing refinement of courses.
