Drone Class is a Netherlands-based startup that trains drone operators for companies, NGOs, schools, and individual professionals. Their challenge was to deliver affordable, effective training for learners with varying backgrounds and learning preferences while ensuring candidates pass the national ILT theory exam required for professional drone licensing.

They built a blended program using iSpring Suite and iSpring Learn LMS—custom slide-based eLearning, timed quizzes that simulate exam conditions, gamification, localized Dutch content, and reporting to track learner behavior. Since 2018 they’ve trained more than 2,000 people, achieved a national exam pass rate above 93%, earned an 8.6/10 customer satisfaction score, and are expanding to additional license courses.
