Ispirer Systems provided migration services for a laboratory information system provider based in the United States. The client needed to move their Oracle database to PostgreSQL to meet project requirements and utilize extended functionality. The migration scope was significant, consisting of over 400,000 lines of code, 1,400 tables, and 400 packages.

The solution was implemented in stages using Ispirer Toolkit, which was enhanced with new conversion rules to handle complex package data types and other specific challenges. After testing, the completed PostgreSQL database was delivered.
