The customer, a financial and real estate service provider, required assistance with application conversion and consulting services. Their main challenge was migrating a 20,000-line Progress 4GL application to ASP.NET C#, a conversion direction that was new for the vendor, Ispirer Systems.

Ispirer Systems implemented a proof-of-concept using their Ispirer tool, which they customized to add the new Progress 4GL to ASP.NET migration capability. Following the successful PoC, they delivered a converted prototype. This proved the migration's feasibility within a reasonable timeframe and demonstrated that Ispirer Systems' tool could be easily customized to fit the user's needs.
