Case Study: R&R Ice Cream achieves streamlined time tracking and access control with ISGUS ZEUS®

Zeus® Time & Attendance, Access Control and Webworkflow at R&r Ice Cream Deutschland Gmbh, Osnabrück

R&R Ice Cream Deutschland GmbH in Osnabrück, part of the new Froneri joint venture, needed a more reliable, integrated way to manage time and attendance, access control, and workflow across a fast-growing ice cream manufacturing operation. After years of using an aging system and hardware that had begun to fail, the company wanted a single-source provider for software, hardware, and support. ISGUS America’s ZEUS® Time & Attendance and ZEUS® Access Control were selected to meet these needs.

ISGUS America implemented 45 access terminals and 10 time recording terminals during live production, a major rollout completed without interrupting operations. The system now supports 3-shift work, flexible weekend production, and secure access for an IFS Higher Level certified site, while transferring absences and surcharges to the Hansalog payroll system. A WebWorkflow module is planned to further digitalize employee time accounts and holiday requests, improving efficiency and making working time administration increasingly paperless.
