Case Study: Albert Einstein College of Medicine secures sensitive lab and student access with ISGUS America

A ISGUS America Case Study

Preview of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Case Study

Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University is a premier, research-intensive medical school dedicated to innovative biomedical investigation and to the development of ethical and compassionate physicians and scientists

Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, a large research-intensive medical school in New York City, needed a better way to secure sensitive lab rooms, student exam spaces, and research facilities spread across multiple buildings. ISGUS America helped address the challenge with its ZEUS® Access Control software and IT 400 proximity readers, replacing mechanical locks and older barcode-based access methods with a more centralized system.

ISGUS America implemented a turnkey access control solution with HID proximity badges, network access control managers, and ZEUS® Access on a secure server for real-time management of permissions and lost-card lockouts. The rollout secured 24 doors in the initial phase and later expanded to more than 40 additional readers across MRI, IT, and lab areas, ultimately supporting access control for nearly 500 authorized users. The college reported that ZEUS® “works, and it works well.”
