The Families Commission runs New Zealand’s White Ribbon campaign, which mobilises men to stand against violence toward women. Because the campaign depends on public funding and sponsorship, campaign manager Rob McCann needed a clear, credible way to demonstrate impact and value to the Board and potential supporters.
iSentia analysed media reach, messaging and coverage to show which events and activities drove the most favourable publicity. The insights proved the campaign was creating public debate and action, guided resource allocation (including expanding the White Ribbon Ride to the South Island), refined social media engagement and strengthened funding cases — outcomes recognised with AMEC awards for measurement.
