C5 Capital, a venture capital firm focused on healthcare and cyber resilience, faced the challenge of helping healthcare organizations defend against a surge in targeted cyberattacks and persistent threats across the U.K., Europe, and the U.S. To address this, C5 Capital worked with IronNet Cybersecurity and managed security provider ITC Secure to support a Collective Defense approach for the healthcare sector.

IronNet Cybersecurity implemented its IronDome Collective Defense platform to enable real-time, collaborative threat detection and response across participating organizations. The solution improved visibility into unknown threats, helped defenders act together faster, and allowed anonymized data sharing without exposing sensitive information; while the case study does not provide numeric metrics, C5 Capital reported that this approach significantly changed how hospitals and clinics detect and block attacks before they occur.
