How the State of Oklahoma's OMES Used Ironclad to Modernize Procurement

The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES), which oversees procurement for the State of Oklahoma, needed a better way to manage thousands of annual contracts and legal reviews. Before working with Ironclad, its teams relied on manual tracking across Microsoft Planner, email, Teams, and Excel, making it difficult to maintain visibility into contract status, communicate efficiently with vendors, and keep procurement and legal records up to date.

OMES implemented Ironclad’s contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform with AI-powered capabilities to centralize contract creation, review, signature coordination, and archiving. The solution improved cross-team communication, automated workflow routing and document management, and added useful analytics and alerts; since November 2023, it has reduced contract execution time by 58.3% for statewide IT RFPs, 52.5% for agency RFPs, and 29.2% for statewide contract orders, while delivering more than $66k in savings to date.
