How HotelTonight’s Legal Team Used a Contract to Deliver Transformative Business Value

HotelTonight, a leading hotel‑booking app with millions of users and over 25,000 partner hotels, relied on Hotel Supply Agreements (HSAs) to onboard hotels but faced two problems: Legal was often excluded from the streamlined Salesforce/DocuSign process and couldn’t proactively manage HSAs, and the team had no way to capture and catalogue critical contract metadata. To solve this, HotelTonight engaged Ironclad’s workflow solution, which integrates with Salesforce, DocuSign, and Egnyte.

Ironclad implemented a workflow that routes HSA creation from Salesforce into Ironclad, emails Property Information Schedules to suppliers, captures metadata in Ironclad Records, triggers Legal review when thresholds or changes occur, and automatically saves signed agreements to Egnyte while updating Salesforce and pushing key property data to HotelTonight’s HTx system. As a result, Ironclad enabled Legal to proactively manage agreements, catalog governing law/tax/margins and property schedules, and deliver contract data to business teams—while automating document storage, Salesforce status updates, and data transfer to HTx.
