HangOn, a global leader in masks and suspension solutions for industrial paint shops, needed a better way to design custom hanging and masking setups for its “Fill the line” strategy. In 2016, the company adopted IronCAD to replace its previous 3D CAD approach, after testing at the Swedish parent company and then rolling it out to the Netherlands team.

With IronCAD, HangOn can visually prototype and share non-standard solutions before manufacturing, from simple hooks and plugs to full custom assemblies. IronCAD’s ability to model multiple parts in one scene and use libraries like Mechanical improved productivity and made it easier to build complete line concepts quickly, helping HangOn deliver smarter, more efficient designs across its global business.
