Axway - Globalizing Threat Modeling within a Leading Data Integration and Digital Experience Company

Axway, a global enterprise with 6 R&D locations and more than 100 products and cloud services, needed a scalable way to perform threat modeling across distributed engineering teams. Manual, in-person workshops were time-consuming, costly, and difficult to coordinate, creating bottlenecks for its small Software Security Group and slowing engineering velocity. Axway used IriusRisk to support collaborative threat modeling for its globally distributed teams.

With IriusRisk, Axway centralized and standardized threat modeling, integrated it into DevOps and security workflows, and made threat model creation available to product teams worldwide on their own schedule. The result was more than 100 threat models and growing, with threat modeling distributed across 300–400 engineers and 80–100 security points of contact across 6 R&D sites. IriusRisk also helped Axway improve auditability, reduce duplication, and streamline Jira-based issue tracking.
