United Response, a charity supporting people with learning, mental health and physical disabilities across England and Wales, needed a more flexible and cost-effective accounting system. Its existing Sun 4.2.6 platform was increasingly hard to adapt to changing requirements, and the successor version would still have needed significant development. United Response chose IRIS Software Group’s IRIS Financials to better support its finance operations and future growth.

IRIS Software Group implemented IRIS Financials and helped United Response streamline billing, reporting and user access across the organisation. The new system made navigation easier, reduced billing errors, supported over 5,000 invoices a month, and significantly cut credit control queries over four months. It also enabled more efficient reporting for 300 services, allowed non-financial data to be stored in the system, and supported devolved control to regional offices.
