Inspire Multi Academy Trust (INMAT) partnered with IRIS Software Group in 2020 and later supported the finance team with a new CFO in 2022 to digitise and streamline school finance operations. The trust needed a more efficient way to manage growing multi-academy finances, reduce manual administration, and improve reporting and compliance across 11 academies.

Using IRIS Financials, INMAT has automated purchasing, electronic approvals, document emailing, audit access, and report consolidation, while also simplifying tasks like MTD integration and supplier communications. The results have been significant time savings, including days saved each month on reporting and reconciliations, with the CFO expecting to save at least two days a month once the trust moves to a single bank account.
