The Scout Association, a long-standing user since 2002, relied on IRIS Software Group's EARNIE IQ payroll system for its flexibility and efficiency. Their key challenge was managing a high volume of unique, organization-specific payments and deductions, as well as seamlessly integrating payroll data with their Sun Accounts system to eliminate manual re-keying and potential errors.

IRIS Software Group's solution provided a highly configurable system that allowed for easy setup of complex payment rules and automatic calculation of tax and National Insurance. The platform’s direct export functionality to Sun Accounts saved significant time and improved accuracy. The Scout Association reported excellent support from IRIS, particularly during critical year-end periods, and has used the system for nearly a decade as a testament to its effectiveness, processing payroll for approximately 500 employees and pensioners with a small team.
