Cranbrook School in Kent struggled with a patchwork of more than 10 disconnected EdTech providers—separate MIS, a standalone finance system, and outsourced payroll—which made admissions oversight, reporting and data insight difficult. To simplify and modernise their back office, Cranbrook chose IRIS Software Group and adopted the IRIS Education suite, first implementing IRIS Ed:gen as their new MIS and later adding IRIS Financials, IRIS Central, IRIS ParentMail and partner services (Every for HR and Dataplan for payroll).

IRIS Software Group delivered an integrated platform that consolidated records, automated workflows (for example, online requisitions and invoice linking), and introduced parent, student and staff portals. The solution has made the school largely paperless, reduced administrative duplication, enabled instant reports and KPIs for governors, streamlined payroll and HR processes, and given staff faster access to payslips, timesheets and clearer, data-driven insights across the school.
