SBS’s challenge was ensuring that schools not only had best‑of‑breed MIS and budgeting software (IRIS Ed:gen and IRIS Financial Planner linked to IRIS Financials) but also the specialist training and local, on‑the‑ground support needed to maximise efficiency and educational outcomes.

IRIS Software Group and SBS deployed the fully integrated IRIS Ed:gen platform alongside targeted training and support, building on an existing IRIS Financial Planner rollout. The combined solution has customers successfully using integrated budgeting and MIS workflows, improving data analysis and reporting across attendance, assessment and attainment, and freeing staff time—giving schools more bandwidth to focus on improving students’ life chances.
