Quakers, the Religious Society of Friends, needed to replace its long-standing SunSystems Version 4 financial management system because it required better reporting, integration with other business software, and a supported platform. The UK-based organisation evaluated several options, including an upgrade to SunSystems 5, before selecting IRIS Software Group and its IRIS Financials Financial Management System.

IRIS Software Group implemented IRIS Financials to provide a flexible, user-friendly finance system that integrated with four other systems via the Data Transformation Tool (DTT). Quakers said the solution made it easier for non-accountants to enter and manage data, enabled high-volume automated journal imports every four hours for near real-time reporting, and allowed drill-down access to detailed records and invoice images.
