Passmores Co-operative Learning Community, a trust of schools, was looking for a better way to manage HR and payroll across the group. Previously, it used separate systems and an external payroll provider, which made it difficult for schools to coordinate HR activity and required time-consuming manual data handling. IRIS Software Group provided PS People, its payroll and HR management suite, to help the trust bring these functions together.

With IRIS Software Group’s PS People, Passmores centralized HR management and integrated payroll with personnel data, eliminating manual re-entry between systems and improving accuracy. The trust said the system saved “loads of time,” gave better visibility across the trust, and was worth the effort to set up because of the hours saved and insights gained. Passmores also uses IRIS Assets trust-wide for school resources and premises, with plans to use it for asset depreciation across the trust.
