Paperless parents’ evening booked in less than 24 hours for Whiteabbey

Whiteabbey Primary School worked with IRIS Software Group to improve parent communications and reduce the admin burden around payments, forms, and parents’ evening bookings. The school needed a faster, more convenient way for parents to engage digitally rather than relying on paper letters and manual processes.

IRIS Software Group implemented ParentMail, including Parents’ Evening Manager, enabling parents to receive messages, make payments, complete forms, and book appointments online. Within 48 hours, 80% of parents were using the system, 174 parents booked in the first hour, and by the next afternoon 88% of students had confirmed appointments. With 97% of parents now registered, Whiteabbey Primary School sends almost all communications digitally, saving significant time and cost.
