National recognition for North East firm as the Bailey Group brings home IRIS Fastest Growing Firm award

Bailey Group, one of the largest independent accountancy practices in the North East (employing 50+ staff, with client numbers up over 20% to ~5,000 and turnover around £3m), needed to retain a personalised service while scaling rapidly. The firm faced the twin challenges of reducing time-consuming manual data entry for smaller clients and preparing for Making Tax Digital, and turned to IRIS Software Group products such as KashFlow, IRIS Snap and IRIS Accounts Production to help solve them.

IRIS Software Group implemented a mobile scanning workflow — a van scans client documents, IRIS Snap captures and pre‑analyses the data, which is published into KashFlow and then posted into IRIS Accounts Production for filing to HMRC — eliminating a layer of manual entry and freeing staff for advisory work. The solution sped up data capture, protected margins (avoiding fee increases), strengthened the Group’s Making Tax Digital offering, and supported measurable growth and recognition: client numbers and fee income rose significantly and Bailey Group won the IRIS Fastest Growing Firm award.
