Myers & Co increase efficiency and client choice with IRIS Docs and IRIS OpenSpace

Myers & Co, an Essex-based accountancy and tax-advice practice of seven staff serving around 150 limited companies and nearly 300 personal clients, faced rising overheads and the need for flexible remote working after relocating. To retain staff, improve client service and move away from paper-based systems, Myers & Co adopted IRIS Software Group’s IRIS Docs and IRIS OpenSpace to provide electronic document management and secure online document exchange.

IRIS Software Group implemented IRIS Docs (integrated document management with email capture) and IRIS OpenSpace (cloud-based secure document sharing and e-approval), deployed from February 2013. The change eliminated off-site storage costs of about £600–£700 a year, cut postage bills of over £2,000 a year, freed office space, sped up approvals and submissions, improved business resilience for remote working, and allowed Myers & Co to increase turnover and process more client work without raising fees or adding staff.
