To tackle this, Modulr partnered with IRIS Software Group and integrated Modulr’s Faster Payments rails with IRIS payroll software (first rollout in IRIS Earnie) to enable instant salary disbursements and reduce payroll friction for accountants and SME owners.

IRIS Software Group implemented an API-backed integration that synchronises payroll calculations with payment entries, allowing finance teams to view, approve and track pending and paid payments from a single secure portal. The solution lets salaries be paid in seconds via Faster Payments (giving SMEs three extra days of usable cash), automates file uploads for faster reconciliation, reduces manual errors and saves time—delivering immediate payroll payments and measurable cash-flow improvements.
