Bon Accord Accountancy, operating from Aberdeen and Lerwick, needed to improve internal efficiency and client communication as it grew and served a diverse client base including nearly 300 contractor clients. IRIS Software Group implemented cloud bookkeeping, centralized document management and a secure client portal so clients can review and approve documents online; around 300 clients now use IRIS OpenBooks and tax-return approvals that once took a week can take five minutes. The solution reduced postage, printing and storage costs, improved turnaround and contributed to a 50% increase in fee income over the past year.
