IRIS Elements’ cloud-based Financial Performance Review saves 50 hours per month and makes ‘monumental’ difference to Essex based accountancy practice

Nordens, an Essex-based chartered accountancy practice that has grown to 14 departments and over 2,000 clients, wanted to shift to an advisory-led approach that helps clients truly understand their businesses rather than just delivering compliance. To support that ambition and to replace time-consuming manual Excel work, Nordens adopted IRIS Software Group’s cloud-based IRIS Elements Financial Performance Review (FPR).

IRIS Software Group implemented the FPR dashboard to automate five-year KPI summaries and visual reports (profit and revenue trends, balance sheet performance, cost and margin analysis, and debtor/creditor days), replacing bespoke spreadsheets. The result has been described as “monumental”: internal review time fell from 30–60 minutes to about 15 minutes, saving roughly 50 hours a month, boosting client engagement through clearer visuals and commentary, and increasing internal referrals.
