Foxtons Estate Agents bring iXBRL accounts production in-house with IRIS

Foxtons, a leading London and Surrey estate agent with over thirty branches and annual turnover of circa £100 million, faced the dual challenge of producing statutory accounts in-house at auditors’ request and meeting new iXBRL tagging requirements without overburdening a small accounts team. Rather than outsourcing the tagging work, Foxtons selected IRIS Software Group’s IRIS Accounts Production to address both issues.

IRIS Software Group implemented IRIS Accounts Production in September 2010, delivering a guided, structured process, full iXBRL compliance and responsive customer support. As a result Foxtons brought accounts production back in-house, producing a full set of accounts for the five companies in the group including consolidation, cutting external costs, saving staff time and enabling easier amendments without adding to the accounting team’s workload.
