A IRIS Software Group Case Study
Expro, a global oil service company with 5,400 employees, faced an increasingly complex payroll environment — multi-currency payments across three payrolls, dozens of regular and ad‑hoc pay elements, and outdated manual data entry. To modernise and streamline payroll, Expro worked with IRIS Software Group, moving from Earnie Executive to Earnie IQ and adopting modules including Timesheet Central, Quick Report Writer and the IRIS AE Assessment Module.
IRIS Software Group implemented Earnie IQ on an SQL platform, integrated Timesheet Central for spreadsheet uploads, and used Quick Report Writer and the AE module to automate reporting, RTI submissions and auto‑enrolment tracking. The result was faster, smoother reporting, elimination of much manual keying, reliable multi‑currency payroll across ~1,500 employees (over 1,000 in the UK and 500+ overseas) and easier management of around 100 employees needing auto‑enrolment — delivering clear time savings and greater payroll control.
