Client numbers soar due to cost-effective outsourcing

The Buxton Partnership, a small chartered accountancy practice, was stretched for staff time and struggling to complete essential payroll, personal tax and accounts work. To ease the burden and avoid reassigning work to senior staff, they turned to IRIS Software Group, initially using IRIS Resourcing and later migrating payroll to IRIS Payroll Professional while also adopting IRIS Accountancy Suite, IRIS Business Tax and IRIS Personal Tax.

IRIS Software Group’s resourcing and software services took over routine payroll, personal tax and year-end accounts work, allowing The Buxton Partnership to handle peak seasons, cover absences and grow their client base. Since outsourcing all payroll in April 2013 (migrating to IRIS Payroll Professional in 2014), IRIS now processes around 120 payrolls a month for the firm; the arrangement has been credited with enabling measurable growth, greater productivity in January tax season, and resilience during the COVID-19 crisis.
