Case Study: Alfriston School achieves flexible remote working with IRIS Software Group’s PS Cloud

Alfriston School - Customer Case Study

Alfriston School, an all-girls school supporting over 150 students with moderate learning difficulties and speech, language and communication needs, wanted to create a more flexible working culture for its staff. Academy Business Director Sarah Hammond sought to move the school away from on-premise systems and into the cloud, and chose IRIS Software Group’s PS Cloud as part of that transition.

IRIS Software Group implemented PS Cloud in February 2020, just before COVID-19 forced schools to close, enabling Alfriston School staff to work remotely without disrupting finance operations. The school was able to access financial data, pay suppliers, generate management reports, and meet audit and payment deadlines from anywhere, with the Finance Officer moving to full-time remote work during the pandemic. The onboarding went smoothly, support was described as fantastic, and the school said cloud software made a very difficult year easier while delivering the flexibility it needed.
