Island Inn Beach Resort, a 100-room oceanfront property in Treasure Island, FL, needed to optimize operations and boost guest satisfaction after relying on manual spreadsheets and paperwork for reservations, billing and reporting. To address this, the property deployed IQware’s Property Management System (IQpms) beginning in 2007 to better capture guest preferences, room inventory and operational data.
IQware implemented IQpms to integrate reservations, guest history, housekeeping, work orders and reporting, giving managers real-time visibility and customizable dashboards. The result: month-end close time fell from three–five days to six hours or less, guest requests and preferences are tracked at booking, and operations and reporting were streamlined—driving higher guest satisfaction, repeat business and improved RevPAR with measurable efficiency gains delivered by IQware.
