Wireless Retailer, a Canadian wireless communications retailer operating more than 370 outlets including Tbooth Wireless and WirelessWave, wanted to improve the customer journey and grow accessory sales. To do so, they turned to IQmetrix and its Dropship program to expand product selection beyond what was physically stocked in stores.
IQmetrix then helped the retailer add Endless Aisle screens as the customer-facing layer, using tablet hardware integrated with POS so shoppers could browse and buy in-stock or virtual items in one transaction. The results were dramatic: accessory revenue increased by $361 per screen per month, ROI reached 1,424%, Dropship orders grew from 6 per month to more than 200 by July 2017, and profit from Dropship/Endless Aisle sales rose 6,730%.
