A IQmetrix Case Study
Jump.ca, a leading wireless retailer in Canada, wanted to move beyond being seen as just another cellphone store and create a more connected, intimate shopping experience. As competition from big-box and online retailers increased, the customer needed a way to offer broader product selection and differentiate in-store without relying on additional physical shelf space. To address this, Jump.ca worked with iQmetrix and its XQ Shelf endless aisle solution.
Using iQmetrix’s XQ Shelf, Jump.ca launched a pilot to let customers browse and order items not physically stocked in the store, such as specialty phone cases and accessories. The solution helped support assisted selling, reduce showrooming, and give shoppers access to a wider assortment while staying in the store. While the case study does not cite specific revenue metrics, Jump.ca reported that the approach helped create a “boutique meets big box” experience and positioned the retailer to meet evolving customer expectations.
