Central Hudson, a gas and electric utility serving 309,000 electric customers and 84,000 natural gas customers, needed a better way to manage emergency situations. The company wanted crews and damage assessors to quickly understand what had happened, report back, and support timely restoration, and worked with IQGeo to meet this need.

IQGeo provided geospatial network management software that supported real-time communication and collaboration during outages. As a result, Central Hudson enabled real-time decision making, improved restoration times, and continued to meet regulatory requirements, with Jeffrey Cito noting that IQGeo listened and developed and tested with the utility.
