A Iptor Case Study
McGraw-Hill Education, a 129-year-old publisher transforming into a Learning Science company, needed a unified ERP approach to support its global digital publishing and adaptive learning strategy. Its operations were fragmented across 11 ERP systems and many peripheral tools in more than 135 countries, making it difficult to standardize data, improve visibility, and support better decision-making. Iptor’s IP1 publishing ERP and analytics product were selected to provide a single master system and “single version of truth.”
Iptor implemented Project Horizon, starting with analytics, consolidation, and an ERP upgrade in APAC before expanding to other regions. The solution standardized master data and business processes, improved reporting and compliance, and reduced manual effort: users’ analytics time dropped from 80% searching for information to 20%, saving 66 person-hours per month in accounts receivable, 132 hours per month in DSO processing, and cutting inventory review time from up to 12 hours to minutes.
