Reliable Parts, a North American distributor of appliance and BBQ parts and accessories, faced the challenge of integrating an acquired business, handling rapidly increasing transaction volumes, and replacing a heavily customized legacy ERP system based on an older version of Iptor. The company needed a more robust distribution-specific ERP that could support expansion, acquisitions, and new e-commerce and mobile needs.

Reliable Parts chose to upgrade to the latest Iptor platform, working with Iptor’s professional services partner Mesa Group to onboard APD first and then move the wider business to the new release. Iptor’s solution added PlannerView and Integrator, improved planning and visibility, and increased scalability; the phased rollout shortened the learning curve and supported the merger of customer data, websites, and operations. The result was a lower-cost upgrade than a rip-and-replace replacement, with Iptor proving it could handle thousands of daily transactions and future growth across a broad geographic footprint.
