Hilton WorldWide wanted to reach stranded airport travelers with urgent hotel needs, but needed a way to serve timely, location-specific ads based on real-time flight cancellations. iProspect was brought in to build a solution using existing technology in a new way, with the goal of matching ads to travelers exactly when and where they needed lodging.

iProspect and Hilton WorldWide created a custom Google AdWords script tied to a third-party flight-cancellation feed, automatically boosting bids and serving geo-targeted ads when cancellations spiked. The campaign launched in the top 30 high-cancellation airports and drove strong revenue growth, including increases of 500% in Philadelphia, 220% in Washington D.C., 100% in Charlotte, and 88% in New York City, while also improving reservations and brand perception.
