Harnessing Mobile Consumer Intent On Waze

Staples partnered with iProspect to boost back-to-school awareness, store traffic, and sales by reaching moms shopping for BTS items on mobile. Using Waze, iProspect helped Staples target consumers who were already on the road and most likely to visit stores, making it a strong fit for localized, in-store marketing.

iProspect implemented a full Waze campaign across 848 stores in 14 markets, using branded pins, zero-speed takeover ads, sponsored search, and destination-targeted takeovers. The campaign delivered a 70% increase in brand recall, a 37% rise in search navigations, a 3.8% lift in incremental BTS units sold, and a 1.7% lift in store visits, with incremental ROAS 2x higher than average display campaigns and incremental profit ROAS 5x higher.
