GMC saw an opportunity to capture the large volume of unbranded automotive search queries and partnered with iProspect to create a lifestyle-focused content campaign. The challenge was to intercept undecided shoppers at the search engine and guide them toward GMC with useful, relevant information, using content built around topics like towing and trailering, fuel efficiency, and vehicle performance.

iProspect developed the strategy and execution, working with Skyword to produce supporting articles and using Outbrain to syndicate the content for broader reach. The campaign delivered first-page rankings for 70% of targeted unbranded terms, 14K incremental organic site visits per month, a 300% lift in monthly traffic with paid amplification, and an average of 6:30 spent on the new lifestyle pages, while also revealing that many visitors were lower in the funnel than expected.
