iPoint Systems supported a project with ReDiBlock to advance resource conservation in industrial production and the circular economy. Their challenge was to create a trustworthy method for supply chain actors to track the life cycle of raw materials and products to enable more responsible decision-making.

The solution implemented by iPoint involved providing system analysis and creating a design concept for a new distributed ledger technology (DLT) infrastructure. Using the precious metal supply chain as a use case, iPoint developed a prototype for a DLT-associated digital material passport. This work established the foundation for increasing circular economy efficiency through verifiable tracking of materials.
