GABRIELA - Customer Case Study

The customer, GABRIELA, is a project consortium focused on developing resource-efficient, recyclable battery housings for electromobility. Their challenge was to holistically analyze the complete life cycle of these new products to reduce CO₂ emissions and primary raw material use, ensuring they supported a circular economy. To meet this challenge, they engaged vendor iPoint Systems.

iPoint Systems implemented a solution using their software, Umberto, to conduct a full life cycle assessment (LCA). The evaluation of this LCA was then managed through their web application, iPoint Product Sustainability. This provided the GABRIELA project with the crucial data and analysis needed to validate and improve the environmental footprint and recyclability of their innovative battery cases.
