The customer, CIRPASS (Collaborative Initiative for a Standards-based Digital Product Passport), is a project focused on preparing for the deployment of a cross-sector Digital Product Passport to support a circular economy. Its challenge was to establish the foundational standards and architectures for this initiative, initially targeting the electronics, batteries, and textiles sectors. iPoint Systems was brought in to contribute its expertise to this effort.

iPoint Systems supported the project by analyzing stakeholder perspectives and technical requirements for batteries, helping to identify relevant data and define the reference architecture needed for the Digital Product Passport. Through this collaboration, iPoint helped lay the groundwork for future DPP piloting and deployment, contributing vital input to the common rules and data standards that will enable stakeholder-specific sharing of product data.
