Significantly improving search and navigation in online catalogs with digital binder

Mueller Company, a B2B manufacturer with product catalogs up to 800–900 pages, struggled to make its PDF-based catalogs searchable and easy to navigate for contractors and distributors. The printed catalogs were familiar to customers, so Mueller sought a digital publishing solution that preserved that structure while enabling fast product lookup — they chose iPaper’s digital publishing software and digital binder/flipbook format.

iPaper implemented a binder-based flipbook solution, treating each catalog section as an individual iPaper with a left-hand menu mirroring the printed catalog. The result was much better search and navigation, strong mobile responsiveness (easy zooming, printing, downloading and sharing), simpler updates tied to an ISO 9001 revision workflow, and excellent customer feedback. Mueller rolled out the conversion from May–September 2015 (with only one catalog pending), demonstrating faster access to product data and improved usability thanks to iPaper.
