Online Catalog Integrated With App Increases Total Readership with 2000+ Readers

Irma, the Danish supermarket chain (part of Coop Danmark), wanted to reach a new, mobile-savvy audience for its weekly catalog. In March 2011 Irma launched a free iPhone app that included the iPaper mobile viewer to deliver the catalog, store finder and meal inspiration on the go.

Using iPaper’s integrated mobile viewer in the app, Irma expanded its reach by an estimated 2,000–3,000 additional readers per week (noted as 2000+ more readers every week) while retaining its browser-based readership. iPaper’s solution enabled on-the-go grocery planning and measurable growth in catalog readership without cannibalizing existing channels.
