Digital Annual Reports as an Advanced Communication Platform

The Danish School of Media and Journalism faced the challenge of presenting annual reports and course catalogs in a modern, multimedia format that worked on tablets and online while giving them real insight into reader behavior. To solve this they partnered with iPaper, using iPaper’s digital publishing software to convert traditional PDFs into interactive HTML publications that combine text, images, video and galleries.

iPaper implemented an interactive annual report and online course catalog with two reader journeys—quick overviews and deep, link- and media-rich long reads—and built-in analytics. The iPaper solution gave DMJX valuable reader statistics showing which pages and course listings attract attention, allowed them to correlate content interest with course sign-ups, and turned previous gut feelings into measurable insights for communications and recruitment.
