Case Study: Madeo achieves EVPN VxLAN-enabled open networking for cloud SaaS with IP Infusion OcNOS

Madeo replaces Cisco and SONiC with IP Infusion to deliver SaaS more efficiently

Madeo Consultant, a France-based data center systems integrator and software provider, faced the challenge of refreshing its switching infrastructure to meet rising demand for its cloud networking SaaS. They required comprehensive BGP support and EVPN VxLAN features, which their evaluation found lacking in solutions like SONiC. They turned to vendor IP Infusion for a new solution.

IP Infusion implemented its OcNOS DC and OcNOS SP software on Edgecore and UfiSpace hardware, replacing Madeo's Cisco switches. This solution provided the needed EVPN VxLAN and BGP capabilities, increased performance, and future-proofed the network at a lower cost. The familiar CLI ensured an easy operational transition, enabling Madeo to deliver its software as a service more efficiently.
