DIGI Group expands across 5 European markets with IP Infusion

DIGI Group, Romania's largest telecommunications provider, faced a challenge as it expanded into four additional European markets. It needed an OLT aggregation strategy that could scale internationally and remain economical, avoiding the constraints and high costs of a traditional single-vendor stack. To meet this need, DIGI Group selected IP Infusion's OcNOS DC and OcNOS SP network operating system.

IP Infusion's solution involved deploying OcNOS on white box hardware from UfiSpace and Edgecore. This gave DIGI Group a uniform operational model across different hardware vendors, decoupling software lifecycles from hardware lifecycles. The results included significant cost optimization and operational flexibility, allowing DIGI to competitively source hardware and tailor each market to local needs without changing its network operations, thereby supporting its rapid international expansion.
